Hydro Fracking Fracks our Earth!
Rumbling, thunderous rumbling! This is what people of the town of Conway, Arkansas have dealt with for quite
some time. Now the frequency of earthquakes has risen to an unheard of number. After an investigation into the February 27th quake that registered 3.5 on the richter scale, scientist now point to a man made source that caused the ground to give way.
Hydraulic drilling for natural gas. That's right, yet another human invention to rob the earth of its precious resources. From what I was taught in geology, I know that the tectonic plates require some sort of space and lubrication to move. The lack of natural gas in the crust makes tiny movements cascade into quakes. We must take care of ourselves, through earth, or else be swallowed up whole.
Thanks for sharing this information on hydro-fracking. I was aware that tectonic plates needed something to facilitate their movement, but not on what the lubrication might be. Now I do. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Looking forward to more!
